United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is a part of the United Nations, that deals with environmental issues and is the leading global authority in its field. Some of the duties of UNEP consist of leading and assisting the developing countries in implementing environmentally safe policies, coordinating, controlling and limiting those policies, directly and inderectly dealing with the issues such as the use of harmful chemical, climate change, air pollution, water pollution and aiding the agreements or treaties that aim to save the environment.
